Sustainability & Ethical Sourcing

JP Collections

Sustainability & Ethical Sourcing.

Running a successful business and doing the right thing are not mutually exclusive. This page outlines where we stand today and the steps we are taking to improve.

Sustainability is a journey, not a destination — we are committed to being honest about where we are

Our Position

Honest about where we are. Clear about where we are going.

At JP Collections, we believe that as a growing brand we have both the opportunity and the responsibility to make a positive impact. We are not a perfect business — no business is — but we are committed to making responsible choices across our operations and being transparent about our progress.

We source products globally, work with multiple fulfilment partners, and ship internationally. We acknowledge the environmental footprint that comes with that model and are actively working to reduce it.

Our Commitments

Six areas where we are taking active steps.

01 — Sourcing

Ethical Sourcing

We work with suppliers who share our commitment to fair and ethical business practices. Our expectations include fair wages, safe working conditions, no child or forced labour, compliance with local laws, and transparency in supply chains.

We are continuously reviewing our supplier relationships and working to strengthen our sourcing standards over time.

02 — Packaging

Packaging & Waste

We are actively working to reduce unnecessary packaging across our orders. Our current efforts include minimising single-use plastics, using recyclable and recycled materials, and consolidating shipments to reduce the number of individual parcels.

We are working towards fully recyclable packaging across all fulfilment partners.

03 — Carbon

Shipping & Carbon

We acknowledge that international shipping has an environmental impact. We are exploring carbon offset options and will share updates as our sustainability programme develops.

Where possible, we encourage customers to consolidate orders to reduce delivery frequency and overall emissions.

04 — Product

Product Longevity

We believe in selling products that last. By curating quality items rather than disposable fast-fashion alternatives, we aim to reduce the cycle of waste that comes with low-quality goods.

Every product in our catalogue earns its place. If it does not meet our standard, it does not go live.

05 — Returns

Returns & Waste Reduction

We work to minimise unnecessary returns through accurate product descriptions, detailed size guides, and honest imagery. Fewer returns means less packaging waste and fewer emissions from reverse logistics.

Our Size Guide and product quiz are designed to help customers get it right first time.

06 — Community

Community & Giving Back

We support charities and non-profit organisations through preferential pricing on qualifying bulk orders. We are committed to being a business that gives back to the communities it serves.

See our Corporate & Bulk Orders page for details on charity pricing.

Transparency

We will always be honest about our limitations.

We are a growing business that sources globally and ships internationally. We do not claim to be a zero-carbon or fully sustainable operation — that would not be honest. What we do commit to is making better choices wherever we can, being transparent about our progress, and listening to our customers and community.

If you have questions or suggestions about our sustainability practices, we would genuinely like to hear from you. Get in touch.
